Please read this section carefully before deciding what format to order.CDG Disc - Made by Selectatrack and sent in the post (Also known as CD+G)CDG is our most popular format and the standard format for Karaoke in the UK & USA. CDG discs will have a blank screen with the lyrics that change colour when they are to be sung. Please select CDG if you want to play your disc in any home or professional CDG Karaoke Player or Machine. If you just want a normal audio CD to play in a normal CD Player then select CDG.
DVD Disc - Made by Selectatrack and sent in the postSelect DVD to play the disc in any normal DVD Player. The words will appear on screen like a normal Karaoke disc. A small amount of DVD Players might not read our discs, please check your DVD Player is compatible with DVD-R media.
MultiplexMultiplex tracks can be ordered in any format
You may have noticed that there are lots of songs with Multiplex written in brackets next to the song title. Multiplex is a special type of Karaoke track that has a guide lead vocal, which helps you learn the track. The vocal is recorded on only one side of the stereo channels which means if you have a compatible Karaoke Player or software, you will be able to switch the guide vocal on & off. Our free Karaoke software has an audio channel switcher and is compatible with Multiplex Karaoke tracks. Multiplex tracks can be ordered in all three of our formats, CDG, DVD & MP3+G downloads, but please make sure your Karaoke Player or software is compatible before ordering.
MP3+G Download - Instant direct download to your computerThis service allows you to download tracks direct to your computer. You will download a zip folder that contains two files, one is an MP3 audio file & the other is a CDG file that contains the on screen lyrics. To play the track will will need special karaoke software, you can download our
free karaoke player software from here . Some software may require you to unzip the file using winzip before it will work, most computers already have this program, if your's doesn't you can download a trial version from
here. Please note that both the unzipped files must be saved in the same folder for the CDG file to work. If you just want to use the MP3 audio file, simply open the folder in which it is saved. We recommend you download our sample track below free of charge, just to make sure you can get it working with no problems. If you are having trouble getting the sample track to work correctly, please contact us before ordering.
